THE HEART BEHIND PARTY PARADISE STORE
Hello, I am Sabrina, founder of Party Paradise here in Los Angeles. I am an Inpatient Specialty RN by trade. I was born in the Caribbean, shaped by Texas, and now an Angelino where I have resided for over 15 years with my two boys, my hubby and our cat whiskers.
As a woman, from the Caribbean, I would say party is in my DNA. I lived a life that was filled with streetwide Carnival, Parade and street March that happens during the September Celebrations making September the most enjoyable month in Belize.
MY STORY
During my practice as a nurse, I have looked at celebration and life on a different level. I have seen so many things, but there is one thing that we will always have, and that is our memories of the life we created. For it is at a party, that we all gather to celebrate, under one roof.
I created Party Paradise Store because, after years of serving as a nurse, I learned one powerful truth: life is fragile, life is precious, and every moment we get is worth celebrating.
Working in healthcare taught me more than medicine. It taught me gratitude. It taught me perspective. It showed me that the milestones we sometimes overlook — a birthday, a graduation, a baby shower, a holiday with family, even “just because” moments — are actually the moments that make life meaningful.
Every day I watched people fight for their health, fight for hope, and fight for one more chance to smile. Seeing that up close changed me. It made me realize that celebrations aren’t just parties — they’re reminders that we’re still here, still blessed, still winning.
Party Paradise Store was born from that belief.
I wanted to create more than a store.
I wanted to build a space where families could find joy, color, fun, and excitement for the milestones that matter most. A place where parents, children, and loved ones could come and instantly feel inspired to create memories that last forever.
As a nurse, I care for people during their most vulnerable moments. As the founder of Party Paradise, I get to care for people in a different way — by helping them celebrate the beautiful, unforgettable chapters of life.
